Urgent Notice for Seychelles Company Owners: Act Now to Avoid Dissolution

Updated time: 11 Mar, 2025, 12:31 (UTC+08:00)

In light of recent changes to Seychelles’ company regulations, the Seychelles Financial Services Authority (FSA) has announced a new enforcement procedure regarding unpaid annual fees. If your company has any outstanding fees, you must settle them by March 31, 2025, or risk being struck off the official register. This new regulation will be fully enforced from April 1, 2025, and businesses that fail to comply will face immediate dissolution.

Businesses in Seychelles should aware clearly about the new regulations to follow the changes

Key Deadlines and Implications:

  • March 31, 2025: The final date to pay any outstanding annual fees.
  • April 1, 2025: Companies that do not pay by this date will be struck off the register and dissolved.
  • December 31, 2024: Companies with more than 180 days of unpaid fees by this date will be dissolved starting January 1, 2025.

Failure to settle your outstanding fees by the March 31, 2025 deadline will result in your company being permanently struck off the Seychelles register. Once dissolved, it will no longer be possible to restore your company unless you go through a lengthy legal process, which requires legal assistance and court proceedings.

What You Should Do Immediately:

  1. Review Your Company’s Payment Status: Ensure that your company has no outstanding fees. If there are any, they must be paid before March 31, 2025.
  2. Make Payment Now: Pay all fees to ensure your company’s compliance with Seychelles regulations.
  3. Get Assistance If Needed: If you’re unsure about your company’s status or need help with payment, reach out to us for assistance.
