3. How to register a company in Anguilla?
The most widely used form for registering a company in Anguilla is the International Business Company (IBC). The IBC offers full foreign ownership, tax-free status for offshore operations, and the least amount of legal formalities.
It starts with the name of a unique company name which you reserve. You will then need to appoint an Anguilla licensed registered agent, who will handle all the documents associated with the incorporation and provide you with a local registered address.
The necessary documents are the Memorandum and Articles of Association, director and shareholder information, and KYC documents like passports and proof of address. After they are submitted to the Financial Services Commission on your behalf by your agent, the company will be checked and approved provided that all conditions are fulfilled.
Once filed, you can open a corporate bank account in your company records. There is no financial reporting or audit of IBCs in Anguilla, but you must renew the company annually and maintain a valid registered address through your agent.
